Eco Cosmetics, organic and natural cosmetic
The company eco cosmetics (Venus) with its forerunners has existed for 13 years. Originally the company was called Sorge & Stirner with the Venus range of essential oils for alternative practioners.
The aim of the company was to give alternative practioners an understanding of a wide range of essential oils from certified organic plants for use in aromatherapy. Later on large companies ordered us to manufacture their own make of essential oils. This also marked the relatively early start of a toll production service.
This business development continued until 1997 when Mr Stirner left the business and Frau Kaya joined the company as a new shareholder. New targets were defined. A range of soaps was now to be produced which could be safely used by most people suffering from a soap allergy. The next programme was nutritional supplements and a range of cosmetics containing black cumin seed.
This was intended to be of a real help for allergy sufferers and to lead to an improvement in their state of health. In other areas, for instance sea buckthorn, we also extended our offer with a complete range of care products containing Demeter sea buckthorn and produced the one and only Noni range of ecological and organic cosmetics worldwide.
In 2004 the company was reorganised as eco cosmetics GmbH & Co.KG and, under the same name, launched the first range of ecological and organic cosmetics in Germany, according to Ecocert guidelines. In 2005 we presented a complete range of sun care products with natural sunscreen factors as our latest development at the Biofach in Nuremberg. Meanwhile we have certainly become one of the leading firms for specialities in the area of ecological and organic supplements and cosmetics.
