1953 - 1963 A PIONEERING CONCEPT
As early as 1953, M. Heitz was interested in the virtues of green clay. A tradition that goes back to early antiquity when clay was used for making beauty masks and treating different ailments. M. Heitz was a pioneer in this field and was the first to market green clay in specialized health stores and chemist shops.
1963 - 1980 A MATURE CONCEPT
In 1963, M. Heitz launched his own company "Laboratoire Argiletz", specialized in the extraction and production of natural sundried clay.Thanks to this unique concept he was able to guarantee the origin of this natural resource.The clay was extracted in France and quality tested before it was used for production. A strict follow-up was carried out throughout the production process. To this day, Argiletz clay goes on being produced in exactly the same way.
1981 - 2006 A REPUTABLE COMPANY
Now known as Argiletz Laboratories, the company has gained an international reputation for the quality of its products.Its partners who include science bodies such as INRA (the French National Institute for Agricultural Research) and CNRS (the French National Centre for Scientific Research) have established Argiletz as a serious company. Bacterial and quality screening is carried out by IRM (Microbial Research Institute), accredited as a microbiology laboratory by Cofrac.
2007 - 2010 THE ERA OF INNOVATION
The first manufacturer of natural and organic products to be granted ISO 9001certification in 2007, Argiletz goes on innovating to offer customers an ever growing range of products that respect individual well-being and the environment.
