How Green-shop.ch was born?

"Only when the last tree has been cut down; Only when the last river has been poisoned; Only when the last fish has been caught; Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten!", Proverb American Indiens.

Environmental protection should concern us all. Each of us can contribute so that our future will be less polluted then today.

Yan et François Pellouchoud (two brothers in their thirties) realized at the beginning of new millenium that it was time to go faster and further to change mainstream trends. They also realized that the little drops of water make the mighty ocean. There are so many little things that everyone can do to save the planet. The brothers decided to switch to organic household and cosmetic products. Switching from a conventional product to an organic one is neither complicated nor expensive. We need to inform people about the products and where they can be purchased.

After having run www.noixdelavage.ch, we opened www.green-shop.ch.

2005 : Creation of the internet site www.noixdelavage.ch (soapnuts for cloths washing). After a while, our clients started asking more organic products (skin, face and body care products, household products, etc.).

2007 : Creation of a new website (www.green-shop.ch) more suitable for Switzerland. During these years, we have accumulated great experience of the best brands, best labels, best manufacturers of the organic and green world. Our goal is to offer our clients the widest range of green products available on the market with the best price/quality relationship. Right now we have more than 2000 products in the following areas: organic food, organic products for the household, organic cosmetic, organic babies &children’s products, organic products for companies, etc...

People behind our company?

Our family business constists of 6 people:

Yan is passionate about ecology and sustainable development. He strives to find solutions which use the least amount of natural resources. He is married to Marina and he has two children. He is responsible for finding new products, dealing with producers, manufactures, etc. He answers your emails in French, German and English.

François has been interested in sustainable development for long time. He insisted on buying a 100% electric car called SAM EV II. « Someone has to do the first step as far as green mobility concerned, Green-Shop.ch needs to act not only to talk » he said. He is responsible for the Internet site. He adds new products and he updates the brands. He answers your telephone calls.

Marina is peruvian. She has been involved in environmental issues since her arrival in Swtizerland and the launch of Noixdelavage.ch and Green-Shop.ch. In Peru ecology is not a priority. She is in charge of invoicing, checking payments and reminders. If you are late with a payment, she will remind you to pay.

Violette is responsible for preparation, packing and shipment.
